An ice luge always works great for any martini bar/party. An ice luge, if you didn't know, is a huge block of ice with one or more small channel carved into it (use a butane torch). Have them wear nametags with geek rank Quote recitation contest from either The Matrix or Lord of the Rings Crown an official Master Wizard Geek and Chief Elvin Mistress Geek for the night. Have a small LAN for random guests to play on (don't let it turn into a LAN party though!) Play Star Wars or Star Trek on television in the background.

THEME PARTY: This party's theme is, without a doubt, hell. Could also be heaven though. Possible title's "Dante's Inferno," "To Hell and Back," "Heaven and Hell," "My Vacation to Hell." This might be a good party for Halloween. Use dark and or red lighting and hellish music for hell and make heaven really dreamy and comfy - light music, great tasting drinks.

Make the party "Heaven and Hell" and have guests choose a side and dress accordingly. Make drink stations "hell," "purgatory," and "heaven" or one of the nine rings of hell. Light hell up with tons of candles. Use a fog machine. Start Guests in the depths of hell and make them complete tasks or drink certain cocktails to move up rings all the way to heaven.
